Accounts and eligibility
Adults create and control authenticated accounts. A child learner uses a managed profile unless a verified, jurisdiction-appropriate direct-minor flow is available. Keep credentials private and tell us quickly about suspected misuse.
Learning service
iStéip provides educational content, practice tools and communication with assigned educators. It does not guarantee competition, examination, employment or health outcomes. AI-supported feedback, when introduced, will be advisory and clearly identified.
Acceptable use
Do not harass, exploit, impersonate, bypass access controls, scrape private data, upload unlawful material or record people without permission. Instructors and schools must follow safeguarding duties and use learning data only for authorised education.
Your content
You keep ownership of practice media you upload. You give iStéip a limited permission to store, process and show it only to provide the selected feature. That permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to short backup cycles and documented legal holds.
Safety, suspension and reports
We may restrict or suspend access to protect a child, person, organisation or the service. Urgent safeguarding actions can occur before a full review. We record reasons, provide review where appropriate and cooperate with lawful authorities.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be explained before they take effect and may require renewed acceptance. Contact eolas@isteip.com with questions or complaints.
